2 days ago · Which Setup For Travel? I'm currently shooting with a Canon 70D with a Canon 24-105mm F/4L IS and Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8; results are great. But 24mm on a crop body is not wide and im missing a lot of the 24-38mm range. I'm trying to cut down on size and weight. I don't care for the 20 or 40mp, that's not a priority, I don't print large or crop

To be fair, when do we ever look that closely at an image. We don't, in the real world. It is true that lenses like the Canon 35mm f/1.4L II are sharper. But could those sharper lenses reach as far or go wider than the Canon 24-105mm f/4L II? I think not. With that being the case, there is a place for the Canon 24-105mm f/4L USM II in your bag.

The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens is considered their sharpest 85mm prime ever made and the fastest of the available models. It's vastly superior to the older EF version, even the Mk II. My observations are as follows.. Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM * Brighter than the DS version. * Sharp as an Otis lens at a third the price. * Beautiful micro-contrast.

Autumn Leaves – Canon EOS R with Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS @ 105mm, f/4, 1/20s, ISO 100. Because of the f/4 aperture, you won’t be obliterating the background with this lens, and the bokeh isn’t overly creamy, but it does strike a nice balance between depth of field and subject isolation and the falloff to the background is fairly smooth.
