Arcdps (dps meter) is good if you start raiding, but it will probably take a while until you get to that. A lot of people like the radial mount menu addon, but that's only really useful once you get mounts. Mounts are part of the second expansion, not really necessary to have until you get to that part of the game.
The best part is that they don't need to level up or play through the story quests. Guild Wars 2 lets players jump into the PVP action (PVP and World-versus-World) right away as early as level 1

Guild Wars 2 is a free-to-play fantasy-themed MMORPG developed by ArenaNet and is the sequel to the first Guild Wars. The game features an expansive and dynamic world that changes based on the player’s actions. Pros: +Story driven gameplay. +Dynamic quest system. +Good variety of classes and races. +Great soundtrack. Elementalist = squishy class dying in every second, go away. Thief = a trash, kicked from parties. Renegate = garbage. Mesmer = hard to play, usually played badly, not for noobs. Guardian, burning build = hahaha, meme OP noob. Engi = don't touch it, only for pro gamers. It is really confusing and hard to pick any class for me, as almost If you buy them seperately, they'll cost more in total. Yet it's less of an impact to go per-item (-> poor being expensive). But they do go on sale quite regularly, so if you got some patience, you will be fine. It's just hard to track the sales down. They're all over the place. HoT here, PoF there, etc, etc.
